Extended Health care
Our plans provide from 50% - 100% coverage of eligible health care expenses. There are no overall maximums, but some specific items or services have lifetime or annual maximums.
Employees use health benefits more frequently to cover prescription costs. Through our plans, you are able to place claims manually, automatically (with the use of a drug card), or online through the mobile app.
Our health care plans also cover major medical expenses, like paramedical services (chiropractor, massage, podiatrists, etc.), semi-private hospital care, nursing care, ambulance, and medical appliances.
All health options include emergency medical assistance and a travel insurance program with a 24-hour global help line.
The plan design you choose applies to all employees, but individuals are able to opt out of health and dental insurance if they have a similar plan through another source. If an employee's alternate coverage comes to an end, he/she has 60 days to join your employee benefit program.
What does it mean to have access to Best Doctors® 50,000 medical specialists? It means you have access to proper diagnoses, the right treatment options for you, faster recoveries, and better medical outcomes for you and your employees. You and your people are connected to the best possible medical care and you have help in navigating the maze of medical information. The Best Doctors program is included in every Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan.
Employee Assistance Program
With the Employee Assistance Program, you can have professional counselling services available to all your employees to help with their health and dental benefits. This program is an effective way to help employees deal with serious personal issues, such as marital/relationship problems or dependency issues. Employee Assistance includes up to 12 hours of confidential counselling per family on an annual basis.
We offer a wide range of dental benefits for employees and their families.
Basic dental programs are available to businesses of all sizes, including one-person firms. Basic dental coverage includes exams, basic restorative procedures (including root canals), and repairing, re-basing, and re-lining dentures.
Major dental benefits, including coverage of crowns, are available to companies with three or more employees. Orthodontic coverage is offered to firms with 10 or more employees.
Similar to Extended Health care Coverage, employees can opt out of Dental coverage if they have similar coverage through another source. If the employee's alternate coverage ends, he/she has 60 days to join your company's plan.
